It looks like Justin Bieber is pulling a Taylor Swift and taking his heartbreak to the studio!
The 18-year-old’s newest song, “Nothing Like Us,” is about his ex, Selena Gomez, and their break up — and the Biebs is getting real. The slow tune features a single piano and his acoustic, heartfelt voice.

“Because nothing can ever/Ever replace you./Nothing can make me feel like you do/You'd know there's no one/I can relate to/I know we won't find a love that's so true,” he sings on one of his three new songs from his next album, Believe Acoustic, out Jan. 29.
What made him write these lyrics about their relationship? "Because at the end of the day, there's nothing like us, you know?" he tells Billboard. "That's just it. It is what it is. People are going to relate to that."
The teen singer romanced Selena, 20, for two years with dreamy dates – including renting out the Staples center and traveling on tropical vacations – before initally splitting in November 2012. For nearly two months after that, they were on-again off-again...and now, they're permanently off.

And though the “Beauty and a Beat” singer has been spotted out with Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin, it seems like he hasn’t quite forgotten his first love. Neither has Selena. A couple of weeks ago, the 20-yeard-old brunette beauty performed Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me River" onstage, hinting it reminded of her relationship with the Biebs.
"I'm not in the happiest place that I've ever been," he says about if he's heartbroken. "I'm trying to get through what I'm going through. Like I said, I have my really close friends to cheer me up and keep me going."
“Some of the most honest music I have ever written,” he adds. “Wrote from my heart.”
