Kanye West rarely apologizes for the things that he does or says, but during a recent two-hour interview with SHOWstudio, the 38-year-old was quick to apologize to Caitlyn Jenner, whom he accidentally called Bruce.
When talking about how proud he is of the transgender 65-year-old for not letting public opinion hold her back, the rapper said, "Bruce just got off the exit sign and drove as fast as he wanted to."
Immediately recognizing his mistake, Kanye backpedaled, saying, "That's disrespectful, I'm sorry. I'm still getting acquainted with what's politically correct, because it's new and it's modern."

The father-of-one described how it felt to find out that his stepfather-in-law was transitioning into a woman. "You know the first thing that I did think about was black radio hosts maybe making jokes about it because black music culture is generally so homophobic," he admitted.
"But then I was like, f--k what people say, f--k what people think. I just feel so proud to be in a family that has, so many people breaking ground for generations to come."

We doubt Caitlyn was offended by the incident, given that she's previously spoken out about Kanye's support.
"I've never been very close to Kanye but I've been impressed by his open-mindedness," she previously said on the docuseries, I Am Cait. "I think he's helped [wife Kim Kardashian] to come to terms with all this."
