Goldie Hawn's ex and father of Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson has disowned his eldest children after becoming enraged by a Father's Day insult.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Bill Hudson revealed the moment he turned on his computer on Father's Day to find his eldest son Oliver, 38, had posted a photo of himself and Kate, 36, as children with Bill, and the accompanying message read, "Happy abandonment day."
The further twist of the knife came as both Kate and Oliver posted Father's Day messages to their "Pa" Kurt Russell, the long-time love of their mother Goldie.

"Oliver’s Instagram post was a malicious, vicious, premeditated attack," said Bill. "He is dead to me now. As is Kate. I am mourning their loss even though they are still walking this earth."
He also asked his oldest children (he has since had three others) to stop using his last name.

"She wants to be Kurt’s daughter?" he said of Kate. "Well then, take his name, stop using mine,"
He also accused his ex-wife Goldie of "willfully alienating" his son and daughter by bashing him in the media simply because she thought "it makes for a better story".
In the interview, Bill also claimed that his marriage to Goldie ended in 1980 after she had a series of affairs and demanded an open marriage.

Eventually after Goldie became involved with Kurt, Bill claims that his children drifted away. But it was this latest Father's Day slight by his kids, particularly Oliver, that has dealt the final blow.
"If what he wanted was me out of their lives, then he’s succeeded," said Bill. "I don’t want to see either of my eldest children ever again. It’s over."
