After appearing on only seven episodes, Kathy Griffin is leaving Fashion Police.
The 51-year-old star took to her Twitter page on the evening of Thursday, March 12 to announce her abrupt exit from the celebrity fashion commentary program.
"After 7 episodes of 'Fashion Police,' I discovered that my style does not fit with the creative direction of the show & now it's time to move on," she began.

"I wish E! and the E! team only the best and I hope to continue to make you all laugh performing live or on television where I can be smart, irreverent, unrepentant and unafraid in an observational way that is candid, honest and justified," Kathy continued.
Following her announcement, E! confirmed the comedienne's exit with an official statement.

"We wish her all the best and are grateful for her time on the show, as well as the many laughs that she gave us all. 'Fashion Police' will return, as scheduled, on Monday, March 30 at 9 p.m. with our talented co-hosts Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski and executive producer Melissa Rivers. No further information is available at this time," the statement read.

Kathy is the second 'Fashion Police' star to leave the show in the last two weeks. Kelly Osbourne, 30, previously stepped down as co-host to "pursue other opportunities" on Feb. 27.
Recently, the hit show has additionally made headlines for a controversial and offensive remark uttered by Giuliana Rancic about singer Zendaya's dreadlocks during the program's Feb. 23 Oscars special.
