Ever since she left her husband, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes has remained quiet about the time she spent in the Church of Scientology. But in the light of another ex-Scientologist’s tell-all interview, the actress is making a statement.

Leah Remini, who famously left the church just a few years ago, has written a no-holds-barred book, and recently spoke about the decision to leave the organization in a candid 20/20 interview.

In the interview, Remini spoke about meeting Holmes and Cruise at the start of their relationship, and noting an uncomfortable moment that got her in hot waters with the leaders of the church.

When Remini visited Cruise’s home to teach him to salsa dance, she remembers how over-the-top affectionate Cruise was with his new girlfriend.

“He was like, forcibly kissing Kate,” Remini said in the interview. “I said, ‘Hey, get a frickin’ room,’ and I was written up for that.”

But when ABC News reached out to Holmes for comment, she responded with a simple: “I regret having upset Leah in the past and wish her only the best in the future.”

For now, it looks like Suri’s mom is continuing her private stance on the church. Remini’s book, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology, will hit bookstores on Nov. 3
