Third time’s…not the charm?
According to a new report, Katy Perry and John Mayer have split after rekindling their romance for the third time last year.
The breakup comes just days after the “Dark Horse” songstress locked lips with Miley Cyrus during the 20-year-old Bangerz tour stop in LA on Feb. 22.

The crooner was not by her side at the show — nor was he with her on her recent trip to London (where she appeared at the BRIT Awards) and Milan.
They were last photographed together at the Hollywood Stands Up to Cancer event in LA on Jan. 28.
In recent months, the pair have gushed about each other in multiple interviews— and even collaborated on “Who You Love” from John’s 2013 album Paradise Valley.
“I’m just having a wonderful experience with a wonderful guy,” she told the February issue of GQ Magazine.
Katy and John have been surrounded by rumors of a possible engagement for some time now — especially after the 29-year-old brunette beauty rocked a huge diamond ring at the Elle Style Awards last week in London.
EXCLUSIVE: John Mayer Calls Katy Perry His Wife
As Life & Style reported, the 36-year-old musician even referred to the pop songstress as something more than just a girlfriend.
“He kept calling Katy his wife,” an eyewitness told the mag about the duo backstage at Good Morning America on Dec. 17 when they were promoting their duet.
“He said things like, ‘I just do whatever the wife says,’ and then both of them would laugh. It was like looking at an old married couple.”
An insider also revealed John’s plans to pop the big question to Katy.
“He’s serious about proposing very soon,” the source said. “He’s been asking her friends what kind of ring she would like.”
Though it seems to be over for now, if history repeats itself, they’ll be back together in no time.
They first began dating in August 2012. They split briefly, got back together, then called it off again last March. They gave it a go once more.

"I took a break from my boyfriend, not one that I wanted. It was like a splash of cold water to search inward on what was going on with me,” Katy said of the split last year.
“That is what led me to this new awakening, this realizing, If I don't do some self-love, I'm not going to be able to keep the love that I want.”
