13 Early ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ Moments That Would Never Happen Today
It’s been 10 years since the Kardashians entered our lives through our TV screens. It’s hard to imagine pop culture and celebrity gossip without them now — but while they may regularly be traveling the world, sitting front row at international fashion shows, and dressing their children better than we can dress ourselves, it wasn’t always this way.
For those of you who haven’t ever taken a long weekend to rewatch some of the early episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, let us tell you, you’re missing out on some wonderful entertainment. Do you remember when Kim Kardashian performed with the Pussycat Dolls in Vegas? As in, danced next to Nicole Scherzinger. Yep, that happened.

How about in Season 1, when the girls get a call from Joe Francis, the creator of Girls Gone Wild (he’s calling from prison), inviting them to Mexico to do a photoshoot where they wear tiaras and wield coconuts in front of gigantic, glittery dollar signs. In fact, in that episode (Season 1, Episode 3), Brody Jenner and his friend attempt to babysit a preteen Kendall and Kylie Jenner who are dancing on the stripper pole in their parents’ bedroom. Meanwhile, a conservative Bruce is furious to find his girls posing provocatively in Mexico (although they insist the shoot is classy). We’re pretty sure since Caitlyn Jenner posed in underwear on the cover of Vanity Fair, she wouldn’t be so concerned now.
Oh, and do you remember the days when Kris worked at her children’s boutique Smooch? Meanwhile, you could catch Kourtney Kim, and Khloé doing inventory and organizing the stock at their own store, Dash.
