Miss Independent has a bun in the oven!
Kelly Clarkson confirmed on Facebook that she's pregnant and expecting her first baby with hubby Brandon Blackstock -- one week after she denied she was with child on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno!
On the Nov. 12 episode, the "People Like Us" songstress told Jay that she was eager to become a mom and that she and Brandon were practicing "like rabbits."

The host questioned Kelly if she had any special news to share. “I always get these stars that come and go, ‘I’m thinking about having a baby,’ and then the next week they go on Ellen and announce it there,” he explained. “So, I’m asking you, are you pregnant? Remember you are under oath!”
But the 31-year-old, who eloped with her beau on Oct. 20, kept mum. At least she announced it on social media and not on Ellen, Jay!
The American Idol alum credited Brandon's two children, Savannah, 12, and Seth, 6, from a previous marriage, for making her want her own.
Kelly recently talked to Life & Style about adding on to their family.
“I did not ever want kids, but my priorities are changing because now I want a baby real bad – a big, chunky bad. I want a girl!” she told Life & Style. “We’re thinking maybe two. I’m not patient, so I already have names picked out for a boy or a girl, and what kind of diapers they’ll wear. It’s crazy! We’re excited.”
Congratulations to the happy couple!
