When it comes to Botox and plastic surgery, most celebrities tend to avoid discussing said topics. But not Kelly Ripa. The Live! with Kelly and Michael co-host reveals she receives Botox injections every seven months in order keep her face looking youthful and in tip-top shape for TV."It's the Botox," the 42-year-old says in the February issue of Elle Magazine. "Every seven months or so my eyelid skin rests on my eyelashes. So I feel like [Botox] makes my makeup artist's life easier, and it makes my eyes look a little more open on TV, which is where I happen to work right now."The mother of three also says she's even had injections in her armpits to prevent sweating and swears by SoulCycle spin classes to keep in shape. And perhaps the reason she's in to fitness and health is because of her past. Before her successful talk show host gig, the three-time Emmy winner had a starring role on All My Children, which is where she met hubby Mark Consuelos.During that time, the blonde beauty sported a curvier frame and received hate mail from fans, calling her "fat."But she made the best of it: "I feel like as long as you take ownership over your own flaws, it doesn't hurt if someone else points them out."And we think she's always looked beautiful—regardless of her size.
