After much soul-searching, Kendall Jenner has decided to quit her app. The 22-year-old model shared the ~heartbreaking~ news with her followers and explained why she will no longer be updating the platform in the new year.

“As I look ahead to next year, my goals and priorities are changing,” she wrote on her website. “I’ve had an incredible 2+ years connecting with all of you, but I’ve made the difficult decision to no longer update my app in 2018. I hope you’ve enjoyed this journey as much as I have, and am looking forward to sharing the next chapter with you.” And if you’re hoping for one last look at the app, it might be too late as it has already been removed from the Apple and Google Play stores.

While we don’t doubt the model has a busy schedule, it’s not a huge surprise that her app was the first to go. When the sisters released their apps in 2015, Kendall’s was the least popular — only earning $9,000 on its first day. To put that into perspective, Kylie Jenner earned about $105,000 on day one and had over 1.75 million downloads by the end of the week.

The app may have failed to impress because Kendall dedicated hers to style tips and beauty routines while her sisters shared more personal details. “Mine is more, I invite the cameras over and say, ‘Oh, hey, let’s just do this.’ We do makeup tutorials and I’m laughing and talking,” Kylie said in the past of her app’s popularity. “I know my fans are my age or younger than me, so I just like to show my personality and show my fans my home and my dogs. I get really personal. I’m on Snapchat, and I’m just like them at the end of the day.”

That’s not to say Kendall doesn’t know what she’s doing. She was just recently named the highest-paid model of 2017 by Forbes and, you know, has 85 million followers on Instagram, so we think she’ll be just fine without an app.
