Kendra Wilkinson Gets “Drunk” After Filing for Divorce From Hank Baskett
She’s taking this hard. After hinting at a possible split mutliple times on social media, Kendra Wilkinson officially filed for divorce from her husband Hank Baskett after nearly nine years of marriage. But even though the couple has had its fair share of issues over the years, it seems like Kendra is not taking the news well and she’s turning to alcohol to help her cope with what she’s going through.
The Kendra on Top star took to Instagram on Friday, April 6, just hours after news about her divorce filing broke, to share a photo on Instagram where she was taking a shot of liquor. “LOL drunk bunny gamer,” the 32-year-old wrote in the caption of herself with the bunny filter.
Kendra has been hinting at an impending split between her and her husband in cryptic Instagram posts over the past couple of weeks and she officially announced their divorce on Instagram. “Today is the last day of my marriage to this beautiful man. I will forever love Hank and be open but for now we have chosen to go our own ways,” she wrote. “I’m beyond sad and heartbroken because I did believe in forever, that’s why I said yes but unfortunately too much fear has gotten in the way.”
“We are both amazing parents and our kids will be happy [and] never know the difference other than seeing mama smile,” she continued. “Sometimes love looks funny. We are told to make sacrifices in life if it’s true love well in this case it’s me. I want to see happy Hank again… I miss that. Marriage was just a piece of paper and a piece of jewelry but our hearts will always be real. [You] will prob [sic] see us together a lot but it’s because there’s no hate. Love wins in this case it’s just looks a little funny. Thank you Hank for a beautiful [eight] years of marriage and [two] beautiful kids. I feel so thankful and blessed.”
In her divorce filing, Kendra listed irreconciable differences as the reason for their divorce and she also revealed that the couple has been separated since January 1, 2018, according to documents obtained by The Blast. She’s also seeking joing custody of the couple’s two children, eight-year-old son Hank Baskett IV and three-year-old daughter Alijah Mary Baskett.
