Kendra Wilkinson Hates Her ‘Playboy’ Girl Label — “I Have Moved on!”

Kendra Wilkinson became a household name thanks to her highly publicized relationship with Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.

However, the Kendra on Top star revealed she is ready to put her past behind her — and wants to be known for more than her time at the Playboy mansion.

“Sometimes it’s hard always being labeled a Playboy girl cuz I’ve never ever seen myself that way,” she wrote alongside a sexy bikini pic on Instagram. “I left the Playboy world almost 10 years ago n have moved on in my life. Comparing me now to that 18-year-old girl then is apples n oranges.”

She continued, “I can give a f–k about meeting standards and impressing people. Who I am is who I am n the people who follow my journey know what’s up n I love you guys. Got a lot coming up n can’t wait to share it with all of you.”

Since her show Girls Next Door came to an end in 2010, Kendra, 31, has welcomed two kids Hank, 7 and Alijah, 2, with her husband Hank Basket III.

And while she may hate the label, Kendra has always been vocal about the impact her now 90-year-old ex-boyfriend had on her life.

“I wanted to find my freedom being a woman. I was a stripper at the time before I came to the mansion,” she told E! earlier this year. “It made sense that Hef called me that day. It all came together, it was like my destiny to go to the Playboy mansion.”

The blonde beauty also revealed that she would be supportive of her daughter if she wanted to follow in her Playboy footsteps.

“If she was the person that I was doing Playboy, I would 100 percent say OK,” she said on HuffPost Live. “If she is in a bad mental place [and has] a bad head on her shoulders and doing it under bad conditions, that’s different.”

For Kendra, Playboy was just part of her journey.

“I was very mentally there, I knew what I was doing, even though I had a little bit of fun, that was a choice that I made and I owned it,” she added. “And I did nothing wrong … and it led me to my life today. Everybody has to go through little ‘finding out who they are’ stages.”
