Last night's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians was particularly emotional as it chronicled Lamar Odom's return to the spotlight following his near-fatal overdose in October.
But the most poignant moment was a chat between the former basketball pro and his estranged wife, Khloé Kardashian, during a private plane ride home from NYC.

When Kris Jenner brought up the fact that her friend, Melanie Griffith, had married her ex-husband twice, Khloé teased, "If you're lucky that could be you, Lamar."
"I'll say my prayers," Lamar replied.

Kris then added, "If you guys ever got married, could we just skip the wedding part?," to which Lamar responded, "No."
"Oh, I was gonna say sure," Khloé chimed in. "But we're definitely getting out of this marriage because it's been a little tainted... We need to cut our ties and we can figure it back out, you know."

The candid conversation came after the duo spent a lot of time together in the lead-up to Lamar's first public appearance at Kanye West's fashion show in February.
But it looks like the couple will first have to sign on the dotted line if there's any hope of a reconciliation.
