Kid Rock added that he wanted to squash reports claiming he'd been involved in the accident. "I’m asking everyone to please respect our and his families' privacy in this difficult time. RIP Mike. We will never forget you, my friend," he concluded.
According to The Tennessean, the rock star was the one who discovered the 30-year-old's body on Monday morning. He had been transporting guests to a cookout hosted by the Grammy nominee the night before.
