<p><span></span><em>Life & Style</em> first reported that <a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=kim kardashian&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><strong>Kim Kardashian</strong></a> was leaning on her ex-boyfriend <a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=reggie bush&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><strong>Reggie Bush</strong></a> after her split from <a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=kris humphries&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><strong>Kris Humphries</strong></a>, and now we have all the details of their first public outing together.</p>
The former couple met up for a poolside lunch date on Sunday at the Cabana Club Café inside the Beverly Hills Hotel in LA.
"Kim was joined by a female friend and Reggie was with a friend, too. She was wearing a minidress and platforms with full hair and makeup," an eyewitness tells Life & Style. "Kim sat right next to Reggie and looked really comfortable."
They spent more than an hour together and Kim was clearly enjoying hanging out with her former love. "She and her girlfriend were laughing [with the guys]," our source says. "It was obvious that they'd all planned to get together and didn't just run into each other."
But Reggie and Kim were cautious not to get too close in public.
"They were being careful, you could tell," the eyewitness tells Life & Style, adding that the E! starlet and her friend left first, but not before "Kim gave Reggie a kiss goodbye on the cheek."
But they're definitely taking things slow for now. "He's been supportive to her since the breakup of her marriage, and they wanted to go out for lunch," an insider reveals to Life & Style. "It wasn't romantic. If Kim had any feelings that it was going to be romantic, she wouldn't have gone somewhere so public."
TMZ was first to report their lunch date. Kim first began dating the pro footballer in 2007. They took a brief break in August 2009 and rekindled their romance, only to call it split again in March 2010.
