Earlier this year, Kim, 36 — who suffered not once but twice from a condition called placenta accreta while carrying daughter, North, 4, and son Saint, 20 months — hired a surrogate to avoid another complicated pregnancy. And so far, so good. Well, other than North likely throwing a tantrum about getting a second little sibling. With the surrogate due in January, though, the family has plenty of time to prepare.
TMZ also reports that the reality TV queen and the “Faded” rapper, 40, have agreed to pay their surrogate $45,000 in 10 $4,500 monthly installments, and are also required to deposit $68,850 with the agency who connected them with the surrogate. Sources previously told Life & Style that the KKW Beauty founder had been planning to expand her family — even though Kanye wasn’t too keen on the idea. “She wants to choose someone outside of the state of California, where there are all kinds of surrogacy laws,” an insider said. “She’s ready to go.”
Kim opened up about her wish to be a third-time mom earlier this season on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. "I'm gonna try to have one more baby," Kim said on the show. "I want my kids to have siblings but the doctors don't feel like it's safe for me.”
