Kim Kardashian may be happily pregnant now, but the road to get here was anything but easy for the 34-year-old!
In a new interview with C magazine, the brunette beauty opens up about the "many complications" that occurred when trying for baby No. 2 with hubby Kanye West.

After developing a condition called placenta accreta following her first pregnancy with daughter North — where the placenta develops deeply within the uterine wall and doesn't fully detach after delivery —a hole formed in her uterus, which made conceiving difficult.
"It was a long road," Kim admits to the mag. "I would go to the doctor in Beverly Hills every day at five in the morning to get tested to see if I was ovulating. I was trying everything: I did acupuncture and got a nutritionist to eat healthier, thinking that was an issue."

And the reality star confesses that the constant stress took a lot of "fun out of it" (aka the sex part with Kanye). "[I would be] like, 'I’m ovulating, get home now!' He'd be like, 'Wait, I’m in the studio,'" she shares.

So, will the couple's baby boy be the last addition to their family? "Well, they think I’ll have placenta accreta again, so if the placenta grows a little bit deeper than it did last time, then they are prepared to have my uterus removed," Kim reveals.
"I think we’re just gonna go day by day, see how overwhelming it is, and see how the delivery goes."
