Just weeks after the election, Kanye West made headlines when he not only endorsed President Donald Trump, but also met with the then-president elect — even though he didn’t actually vote in the election. Some speculated that he was getting tips on politics and campaigning, as he famously announced his 2020 candidacy at the 2015 VMAs. But now, Kim Kardashian revealed that there’s another political genius in their household, while simultaneously slamming the current commander-in-chief: the one and only North West.

“Anyone can run the U.S. better,” Kim told Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. “My daughter would be better.” We’ll file this one under “real news,” Keeks.

She continued, “We’ve worked so hard to get where we were and to have so many things that we were so proud of in our country, to just literally revert backwards is the most frustrating thing. Every single day when you can’t really believe what’s going on, the next day it’s something else even more crazy and tragic. It’s really scary, the world we’re living in now. And when you did feel safe at home, now with Trump in presidency, you just don’t feel safe anymore.”

Honestly, we love seeing Kim being so politically aware — in the same interview, she confessed that she struggles with speaking out about political issues that she’s passionate about because she has to be “really careful” not to hurt anyone’s feelings with her opinions — but at the same time, the most important part is that she thinks North would make a great president. And if we’re being honest, we agree. So consider this Life & Style’s official endorsement.

We can imagine what our country would look like with North as president; in her debut interview, she already showed that she has what it takes to run a nation. She showed her support for the LGBTQA community when she revealed that her favorite color is rainbow. She’s passionate about women’s rights — to the point that she won’t allow her brother in her room, but we’ll work on that. She knows how to relate to everyone in the community — who else do you know that can seamlessly transition from design duds to partying at Chuck E. Cheese? Kim has famously said that the tot takes after her dad and tells it like it is, something that people like to see in their politicians.

Our children are our future. And if we had to pick any kid to lead the way, we’re confident with this sassy four-year-old. It’s official: We’re With North. See you at the polls!
