The reality star may be going through a tough divorce, but that hasn't stopped her from raising $50,000 for one of her favorite causes, the Trevor Project.
As stated on its website, the Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide-prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.
And with her constant support, the 31-year-old is now one of the organization's largest celeb donors, putting her alongside fellow supporters Daniel Radcliffe and Jodie Foster.
Kim, who was a presenter at the Trevor Project's annual fund-raiser a few years ago, raised the money with Cantor Fitzgerald, an investment bank that gives away millions every year on 9/11 to honor late employees who died in the attack on the World Trade Center.
A source close to Kim says, "It's important to Kim to support the Trevor Project because lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people of her generation face extreme levels of hate and discrimination, and she knows that they need caring places like the Trevor Project to turn to for help."
The nonprofit has call centers in Los Angeles, New York City and San Francisco, and we're told that the Kourtney & Kim Take New York star is planning a visit to one soon!
