All the Kardashian Exes Dating Kardashian Lookalikes Is Getting Weird Now
We’ve noticed something a little strange about the Kardashian sisters’ relationships: Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, and Kylie’s exes have all gone on to date Kardashian lookalikes. While we guess it’s possible that they just have a type, and that’s why they dated a Kardashian in the first place, we choose to believe there is something deeper going on here. (Maybe the Kardashians are just irresistible? Maybe there’s something in the water in Calabasas and once you spend time there all you crave is girls with big butts and expert contouring skills?) So we checked out the sisters’ serious ex-boyfriends and their relationship histories to get a closer look at what exactly the deal is. And we discovered some pretty weird s–t.
Kim Kardashian’s Ex-Husband, Kris Humphries
Kris Humphries only dated Kim Kardashian for about five minutes, but even he couldn’t escape what we’ve dubbed the Kardashian Ex Effect (K.E.E.). Before the Kardashian Era, he seemed to have a thing for the long-leggy model type — which, uh, Kim is definitely not. After Kim came Myla Sinanaj, and that’s when fans started to notice something weird. His new girlfriend looked a little too much like his ex for comfort. Like, not just that they could’ve been cousins, but that Myla could’ve made some legit money as a Kim impersonator. We guess Kim may have been done with Kris — but Kris clearly wasn’t ready to let go of Kim. He needed a ~transition~ girlfriend before he could go back to dating models.
Kim Kardashian’s Ex-Boyfriend, Reggie Bush
Reggie Bush also seems to have a thing for those Kardashian-esque curves, so it’s no wonder that he also fell victim to the K.E.E. When he finally settled down, it was with Lilit Avagyat — who also bears a striking similarity to the reality TV fam. Actually, it’s kind of cerepy how much their kids look like North and Saint — like this family walked out of a bizarro world where Kim and Reggie managed to make it work.
Kim Kardashian’s Ex-Boyfriend, Ray J
The thing about Ray J is that it seems like he’s dated about half of Hollywood — including superstars Lil’ Kim, Pamela Anderson, and even Whitney Houston (which, like, how did Ray J manage to land Whitney Houston?). He also pursued about a million other girls on his reality show, For the Love of Ray J — so many that we didn’t even bother trying to fit them all in. So, in this case, we’re not really sure that Ray J has a specific type, other than “famous,” or at least “on TV.” Nope, this rapper showed off his K.E.E. hang ups in a totally different way — with a single called “I Hit It First” that blatantly starred a Kim K doppelganger (honestly, he played himself with this one).
Kourtney Kardashian’s Ex-Boyfriend, Scott Disick
Self-admitted sex addict Scott Disick has slept around a lot (and we mean a lot, enough that he had a sex addiction storyline on KUWTK) since getting dumped by Kourtney Kardashian. But then Christine Burke came along — and she bore an eerie resemblance to Kourt’s lil sis, Kendall Jenner. Considering all the rumors about Scott hooking up with both of the Jenner sisters (at least, we seriously hope they’re just rumors), we couldn’t help but cringe. The more worrying trend here, though, is that while Scott keeps getting older, his girlfriends seem to just get younger. Get it together, Scott. Honestly.
Khloé Kardashian’s Ex-Husband, Lamar Odom
Other than, uh, “working women,” Khloé Kardashian‘s ex hasn’t really been seeing anyone in recent years. But recently, Lamar Odom and model Maddy Morebucks seem to be starting to move forward. Maddy and Khloé don’t have much in common other than their equally bangin’ revenge bodies, though. Is it possible he’s the one ex who’s managed to escape the Kardashian Ex Effect?
Kylie Jenner’s Ex-Boyfriend, Tyga
Considering the fact that Tyga likely tried to take credit for Kylie’s pregnancy, it’s pretty obvious he’s not over her. But just in case Kylie Jenner wasn’t getting the message, he decided to drive the point home by dating her actual doppelganger, Demi Rose Mawby. Uh, we guess that’s one way to get back at your ex? Dating her sister’s doppelganger, though — like Kamilla Osman, who might as well be Kim’s twin — might be crossing the line. But then, when has Tyga ever held back?
