Kim Kardashian Claims the Pros of Fame Outweigh the Cons in Pre-Robbery Interview

In the weeks since Kim Kardashian’s Oct. 2 robbery in Paris, the 36-year-old has stayed away from social media and largely avoided the spotlight — a significant departure from the lifestyle she used to live.

And in a new interview with 60 Minutes — which was taped before the incident, but didn’t air until last night, Oct. 23 — Mrs. Kanye West spoke candidly about the “benefits” of monetizing “living.”

“I do believe that the pros in my situation and my lifestyle have been more beneficial than the negative things,” Kim explained. When the interviewer asked, “The money’s not bad?,” Kim couldn’t help but joke, “Not bad,” with a bit of a smirk.

The mother-of-two also addressed claims that she’s famous without having any sort of talent.

“It is a talent to have a brand that’s really successful off of getting people to like you for you,” she quipped. “I would think that has to involve some kind of talent, you know?”
