Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are just two of the many people ecstatic over the news that DOMA (the Defense of Marriage Act) has been overturned.
Shortly after it was revealed that the U.S. Supreme Court declared the act’s Section 3, which restricted federal marriage benefits for same-sex couples, as unconstitutional today, Kristen proudly asked her beau “will you marry me?” on Twitter.

While the duo did announce their engagement in January 2010, they famously stated they wouldn’t marry until gay marriage became legal.

“We are not getting married [until] everyone else can,” the actor said. “When that happens, then we will do it.”
