So reality TV isn't real?
The reality shows that once made Kristin Cavallari a household name, definitely don't define her today — and she's spilling major details about her time on The Hills.
The 29-year-old mom of three reflected on her MTV days during a Q&A with Momtastic, where she basically confirmed, the reality show we relied on to survive our own social lives, was fake.

"I looked at it strictly as a job; we filmed three different scenes, three days a week. I had my life on-camera and a completely different life off-camera. I knew the character they wanted me to play, and this time I was game. Since I looked at it as a job, it was fun to play up the villain character," she said.

While there has been tons of speculation in the past that the hit show has been staged and scripted, Cavallari and her co-stars have pretty much confirmed what we thought could never be true.

While on the talk show, Bethenny, Heidi said, “In the beginning it was more real, and then as it progressed, it was a little bit fake and then more fake and then everything’s fake before you know it.”
