Oops! Ivanka Trump shared a sweet photo of her husband Jared Kushner and son Joseph while on holiday vacation in Florida. However, the first daughter failed to notice the confederate flag waving in the background.

The father-son duo was proudly showing off a fish they caught when the flag, which is often associated with slavery in America, was spotted in the distance. As expected, critics of the president's family quickly jumped on Twitter to roast Jared and Ivanka for their ~minor~ slip up. "Jared Kushner goes fishing, Ivanka Trump posts 4 photos of it, and oddly enough there's a Confederate battle flag in the background of one. What are the odds?" one commenter tweeted before another added, "It's evident, they are not that thoughtful, at all."

However, Trump supporters blamed the media for spreading more "fake news" about the family. "This story just shows the depth to which the fake news is willing to sink to attack this family," they wrote. "Far far off in the distance you can see a confederate flag. Who cares?" Earlier this week, Ivanka was also criticized for filming a "tone-deaf" Christmas video with little sister Tiffany Trump while clad in bikinis. "You and your family are so out of touch with reality. Enjoy your vacation while people struggle every day," one follower wrote on Tiffany's Instagram page.

Ivanka is used to life in the spotlight — and admits she does not listen to the haters who try to put her and her family down. “Whether my contribution ultimately lives up to the expectations of some of the harshest critics? Only time will tell,” Ivanka told the Washington Post “But I will not be distracted by the noise.”

President Donald Trump also supports his daughter and applauds her ability to ignore her critics. "I am so proud of my daughter Ivanka. To be abused and treated so badly by the media, and to still hold her head so high, is truly wonderful," he tweeted earlier this year. Do you think Ivanka intentionally shared the photo, or was it just a big mistake?
