Kylie Jenner Reveals the Real Reason She Got Lip Injections — and It Involves a Boy!
It’s been two years since Kylie Jenner admitted to getting lip injections — and the reality star is still explaining the reason she decided to undergo the cosmetic procedure. On the latest episode of Life of Kylie she revealed her insecurity was caused by a boy.
“I was 15 and I was insecure about my lips. I have really small lips. And it was like one of my first kisses and a guy was like, ‘I didn’t think you would be a good kisser because you have such small lips.’ But I took that really hard,” the 20-year-old beauty said. On the episode, Kylie also showed off her philanthropic side, visiting kids undergoing cleft lip operations in Peru thanks to her donations. “When I was younger, I definitely didn’t have the best confidence at all. These kids have it on a whole other level,” she said. “So Smile Train touched me and I felt the urge to get involved. It’s amazing to know that the money I’m donating is actually doing something, changing lives.”
While her new and improved pout has launched a billion dollar beauty empire, Kylie does admit she has overdone the injections in the past. “When you first get them done, you’re like, ‘Oh, it could be a little bit bigger on that side,’” she said. “I’d go back and be like, ‘They went down’ and think they could be bigger. But I went too far. It was very painful.”
However, the social media maven still insists that she’s never gotten any permanent plastic surgery though. “It’s annoying to hear every day that you’re just this fake, plastic person when you’re not,” she added.
