La La Anthony Shares Touching Tribute to Her Son Amid Split From Carmelo Anthony
It looks like newly single La La Anthony is focusing her attention on her family during this trying time.
It’s been about three weeks since a cheating scandal rocked the actress and reality TV star’s life after reports claimed that she split from her NBA star husband Carmelo Anthony. But even though she’s currently dealing with the aftermath of her separation, the mom-of-one took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to their son.

La La posted a photo taken of her and her son — 10-year-old son Kiyan Anthony — while they walked the red carpet together at VH1’s Dear Mama. Kiyan’s famous mama helped co-host the Mother’s Day event with comedian Anthony Anderson, which is full of performances and acts to honor mothers. But even though it was her night to be honored, La La took the time to honor her little boy.
“He’s the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside,” the 37-year-old wrote, adding the hashtags “#MyOneAndOnly” and “#MyEverything.” In a screenshot obtained by gossip entertainment blog The Shade Room, La La’s estranged husband commented on her post and simply wrote, “Love y’all.”

The 32-year-old New York Knick shocked fans when it was revealed that a mystery woman came forward and accused him of cheating on La La with her when she was working as a dancer at a gentleman’s club in NYC — and to make things worse, the stripper is also claiming that she is currently six months pregnant with his child, according to TMZ.
Even though neither party has filed divorce papers just yet, if the mystery woman’s claims are true — then there would be no chance of La La and Carmelo reconciling. But during a red carpet interview at Dear Mama, La La revealed what’s helping her get through these hard times.
“My family. My family is my strength,” the former MTV VJ told People. “My family and God is my strength. That’s where I’ve always found my strength my entire life, so now would be no different.”
