Lady Gaga is ready for her close-up! The singer will be making her big screen debut in the remake of A Star is Born.

The movie, which will be directed by Bradley Cooper, marks the 30-year-old's first starring role in a feature film. She will also compose and create new music for the musical.

"Im elated to be directed by & starring w/ Bradley in this project. He's a brilliant visionary artist," Gaga tweeted, sharing the exciting news with fans.

This pop star followed up the announcement with details about her new single, "Perfect Illusion," on Instagram.
