The Era of Lamar Odom and Khloé Kardashian Is Officially Over — and We’re Grieving

It’s a sad day for longtime Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom fans.

Nearly eight years after the couple’s relationship first began, the former NBA star confirmed that the duo is never ever getting back together.

While talking with Wendy Williams, Lamar opened up about his near-fatal overdose in 2015 — which stalled divorce proceedings — and revealed whether or not he’d reunite with Khloé despite everything that happened.

“I wasn’t in a good place mentally before the incident happened,” the 37-year-old told the host. “My wife at the time, we were going through some things. And I was in a dark place.”

But when asked if he’d give their love another chance, the athlete clearly stated, “No. I say that with no offense to her — that would be the best for both of us. We have to keep our distance.”

Lamar’s interview comes a few weeks after his daughter Destiny, with ex-wife Liza Morales, ranted about his “toxic” marriage to the reality star. “Things changed when my dad married Khloé. Things were a lot more public,” the 17-year-old explained in a People Entertainment Network feature.

“I wouldn’t say it was a matter of my dad loving Khloé more than me. I think that my dad has an addictive personality, so he was addicted to the attention he got with Khloé more than me,” she continued. “There were regular snide comments at school. And when his addiction became public, then it became a social media thing. Even people that I thought were my friends were saying stuff on social media. It was humiliating.”
