Lamar Odom Keeps It Classy, Sends Good Vibes to Pregnant Ex-Wife Khloé Kardashian
Earlier this year, Lamar Odom got super candid about his lingering love for ex-wife Khloé Kardashian — after hearing that she wanted a baby with boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
Despite the couple’s divorce late last year, the former NBA pro revealed that he misses the reality star. The 37-year-old appeared on an episode of The Doctors to discuss his recovery following a near-fatal overdose in October 2015, and when host Travis Stork asked, “Going forward, when you look at your life ahead of you, what are you looking forward to?,” the father-of-two responded, “Um, honestly? I want my wife back.”
However, it seems as though a reconciliation is out of the question now that KoKo is reportedly pregnant and expecting her first child with Tristan, 26. Still, Lamar is sending good vibes Khloé’s way as she prepares for first-time motherhood. “I wish her well,” he told Complex’s "Everyday Struggle" of his former spouse on Wednesday, Oct. 4, adding that he “still [has] love for her.”
Khloé moved on from Lamar with the Cleveland Cavaliers player last year, and a source told Life & Style that Khloé knew she wanted to start a family with him from the get-go. “She wants to have a baby with Tristan right away and isn’t bothered by the fact that he just became a dad,” an insider shared, referring to the birth of his son with ex-girlfriend Jordy Craig.
“Khloé feels healthier than ever and thinks this is the perfect time to try for a baby,” the source added. And even though they’ve only been dating since August, “She’s telling everyone that Tristan’s the one. [But] she’s over the whole idea of marriage for now. She just wants to become a mom.”
It’s no secret that the 33-year-old is already a doting aunt to her five nieces and nephews. And despite the fact that her new show Revenge Body premiered on Thursday, the Strong Looks Better Naked author babysat Penelope Disick and North West, documenting their shenanigans on Snapchat.
