Lamar Odom may be off all machines as he approaches the one month mark of his hospital stay, but the 36-year-old is no where near the man he used to be, and sources say he may never get back to that place again.
“Lamar is doing OK, but by no means is he back to his old self,” an insider reveals to Hollywood Life. “Standing and walking for long periods of time is a struggle. So is talking to some extent and his memory has been effected. To be honest, he may never fully recover.”

It's an upsetting reality for someone who once had such a promising career as an NBA star. Khloé Kardashian recently elaborated on her husband's condition, admitting that it will be a "long, long time" before he's ready to leave the hospital.

"He will try to learn how to walk... so that is first…," the 31-year-old said in an interview with Extra's Terri Seymour.
"When he can support himself on his own, or physically try to walk better on his own or at least with an assistance, with, like, a walker, then he will probably leave the hospital and do a lot of cognitive and mental strengthening."
