We're so glad he's okay! Khloé Kardashian's ex-husband Lamar Odom had fans so worried after multiple reports claimed that the former NBA star collapsed to the ground while partying in a West Hollywood nightclub. With the scary incident happening just two years after Lamar's near-fatal overdose, fans are wondering if his new health scare had anything to do with complications stemming from that incident.
Video footage obtained by TMZ showed the moments following Lamar's collapse, and security guards can be seen lifting the former basketball player from the ground and placing him in a seated position. Even though the 38-year-old seemed alert yet confused in the footage, sources later revealed that his collapse was due to dehydration after he had an intense workout earlier in the day on Saturday, Nov. 4 — but sources say he's "doing great" now and even though Lamar has a history of drug and alcohol abuse, his health scare was not drug-related.
Lamar cheated death on October 13, 2015 when he was found unconscious at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch South in Pahrump, NV after spending days partying with various women. He was rushed to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, where he remained in a coma for four days and also suffered 12 strokes and two heart attacks. At the time of his health scare, he was still legally married but estranged from Khloé and she rushed to his side, helping him throughout his recovery — and he opened up about his ordeal for the first time earlier this year.
"She was the first thing I saw. She said, 'Hi, Mookah.' 'Mookah' is a name my mother used to call me," Lamar told Us Weekly back in March. "She said it to let me know I wasn’t dead. She played a major role in me getting my memory back."
