He's back! Lamar Odom has reappeared on Instagram just eight months after he nearly died from a massive drug overdose in a Las Vegas brothel.

The former NBA star, 36, looked relaxed, happy and healthy in his first post since his long hospitalization and subsequent rehab, during which he had to learn how to walk and talk again. He shared a snap of himself with former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Trevor Ariza.

His estranged wife, Khloé Kardashian, was by his hospital bedside during much of his recovery.

Family and friends have grown worried recently that Lamar is abusing drugs and alcohol again. Loved ones have reportedly tried getting the basketball player back into rehab, but he's refused to go.
