If all goes according to plan, Lance Bass will be saying bye, bye, bye to uninterrupted sleep and hello to a baby! The former 'NSYNC singer is ready to expand his family with husband Michael Turchin and he is turning to a surrogate in 2018.

"We're going to hopefully do the surrogacy thing first before going the adoption route," Lance told Life & Style exclusively. "This year got away from us. We're really behind in our baby planning, but hopefully next year we'll be celebrating." The couple, however, does not have a preference when it comes to gender and is just happy they are able to become parents. "Thank goodness for science," Lance, 38, added.

The 90s House host also revealed while the couple does not have a preference when it comes to the baby's gender, picking out a godmother might be a bit trickier. Lance is BFFs with both Kris Jenner and Vanderpump Rules star Lisa Vanderpump, so there is some stiff competition when it comes to the title.

"Well that would open up a whole can of worms because they would all be fighting to be the godparent so I don't know if I would be able to choose godparents," he previously told Life & Style. He would probably have a tough time picking between his former boy band members too…

Lance and Michael, 30, tied the knot in 2015 and made history as the first same-sex couple to get married on an American TV network. While they get ready to welcome a bundle of joy, Lance and Michael are getting some practice with their furbabies Lily, Dale, and Chip. Lance recently enjoyed doga (aka dog yoga) with his pup — and we can already see he is going to be a great dad!
