It hasn't been an easy week for LeAnn Rimes.
First Life & Style exclusively published details of Brandi Glanville's explosive book, Drinking and Tweeting.
And now LeAnn has pulled out of her first public appearance since the tell-all hit stands.
The 30-year-old was set to host the Gay Male Chorus of Los Angeles performance of It Gets Better at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre on Feb. 1 but backed out at the last minute because she has the flu.
"She was listed as the official host of the event, and her name was on the front of the program," a source tells Life & Style. "But she canceled at 1 p.m. saying she had the flu."
The source continues, "Everyone at the event was very disappointed she wasn't there; they thanked her onstage after the show for her support of the cause."

She added, "Please do not make it 'way cooler and more embellished than it is.' It's then just called fictional and a bald-faced lie."'
