Lena Dunham made quite a splash on Saturday morning during a paddle board race in the Hamptons!
The 29-year-old, who showed off her curves in a geometric print bikini, needed some assistance from pro surfer Laird Hamilton after struggling to finish the three-mile trek, which benefited the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Sharing a blurry photo from the event, the Girls creator wrote, "this is an image of Laird Hamilton coming to save me. He is literally King Triton and as I struggled to complete BCRF's Paddle for Pink...he appeared as if from the ocean's depths and guided me to the finish line."
She hilariously added, "I kept screaming 'will I make it?!' like we were in a disaster movie. He said 'yes, Lena, we will.' Ladies, there are still a few heroes we can count on... #ThankYouLaird #paddleforpink #3miles."
We're thrilled to see that you made it out alive, Lena!
