Is there anything Lena Dunham can't do?The Girls' creator and star is on the cover of the October issue of Marie Claire UK and she looks amazing.
Inside she tells the magazine there is often a misconception over how she views fashion:
"I'm not saying I am a great candidate for the cover of a fashion magazine, but I do love clothes. People are always surprised to hear that -- they think I walk around in a washcloth or something."
Dunham, who is not shy about baring it all on her hit HBO show attributes her body confidence to her parents:
'Girls' Star Lena Dunham Responds to Howard Stern "Fat" Comment
"'My parents both have really healthy attitudes about their own bodies but also about the range of things that can be beautiful. But they also just always made me feel pretty and cool and smart, even in the moments when I have known – and still know – that my body wasn’t fitting into a traditional Hollywood idea of the female body.
On her Instagram feed this week Dunham thanked Marie Claire for thinking a "little twisted":
"Have to thank my beloved @erdemlondon for making me this dress for the cover of UK Marie Claire. It is such a relief to be dressed by a designer who doesn't feel that women sizes 4 and up belong in a belted sack. Thank you, sweet Erdem, for knowing we don't want to look like a gang of art teachers. And thank you, Marie Claire, for thinking a little twisted."
