Leonardo DiCaprio is dedicated to saving our planet — and he more than made that evident this week!
The 40-year-old's namesake charity, the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, just donated $15 million to more than 30 environmental organizations including Amazon Watch and the National Geographic: Pristine Seas.

According to People, his latest philanthropic purpose involves "implementing innovative and impactful conservation projects around the globe."
In a statement, the actor said, "We have a responsibility to innovate a future where the habitability of our planet does not come at the expense of those who inhabit it. I am proud to support these organizations who are working to solve humankind's greatest challenge."

Leo's past charitable efforts have also been extremely generous –– a major contrast from his self-serving stockbroker role in The Wolf of Wall Street film. He helped raise $25 million with some of his fellow A-Listers at a gala last year.
Because Leo is perfect. Like, really, ridiculously perfect — man bun, a knack for young supermodels and all.
