<p><span></span>The Kardashians may not be big fans of <a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=Kris%20Humphries&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><strong>Kris Humphries</strong></a> right now -- but the NBA sure is!</p>
Several teams are interested in Kim Kardashian's estranged husband for the upcoming season, which will open on Dec. 25 after resolution of a lengthy labor dispute between owners and players.
"There are three offers right now from teams," an insider close to Kris reveals to Life & Style.
"He has interest from numerous teams and is weighing his options," says a second insider.
Kris' contract with the New Jersey Nets ran out in June, freeing him to sign with any team that made him an offer. But the first insider says Kris wants to stick with the Nets. If that's what he decides to do, he'll able to re-join the team on Dec. 9 -- the date that all free agents can begin signing with a team.
He had a breakout season in 2010-2011, starting 44 games and averaging 10 points and more than 10 rebounds a game (his highest averages since joining the NBA in 2004), so he's definitely a desirable player right now!
And although Kris has become a fixture of celebrity weeklies since Kim filed for divorce after just 72 days of marriage, he hopes people won't forget that he's more than a reality-TV star!
"I'd like people to focus on who I am as a person, for the work I've done with my foundation, for the commitment to the communities that I've lived in, the commitment to the teammates that I've played basketball with," he's said. "Those are the things that I value, and I'll let other people talk about the rest."
After being drafted in the first round (14th overall) by the Utah Jazz, Kris, now 26, stayed with the Jazz before moving to the Toronto Raptors for three seasons. After being traded to the Dallas Mavericks in 2009, he was traded midseason to the Nets.
