Is Lindsay Lohan the real-life Elle Woods? She seems to think so — or wants her fans to think so. The actress took to Instagram to share the news that Harvard Law School officially invited her to speak at their commencement ceremony. Watch the video of above and watch her explain the news!

She excitedly explained, “Okay…Havard Law has asked me to speak at their graduation commencement ceremony and I’m really, really honored and I couldn’t be happier. My work with Lawyer.com has finally paid off, who needs Hollywood when you have Harvard Law! Officially Harvard, Lawyer.com, thanks for the help!”

Lindsay’s “work” with Lawyer.com recently started when the company asked her to be a spokesperson. In a video on their website, Lindsay explained how the partnership came about, “When Lawyer.com first reached out to me, I was confused and a little scared because I thought I was in trouble. But when they asked me to be their spokesperson, I was intrigued. After meeting with the team, I realized Lawyer.com is just about helping people. From getting a DUI — let’s not pretend like I didn’t get one. Or two. Or three. Or some others.”

With this collaboration, Lindsay’s responsibilities include meeting and brainstorming with the Lawyer.com team about new strategies on how to raise the brand’s awareness as well as connecting to media leaders and creating videos for her social media fans. The Mean Girls star claimed that it is because of everything she has done with Lawyer.com that she was able to land the gig at Harvard — as well as Cambridge and Oxford.

Jezebel reached out to Harvard Law to confirm Lindsay’s story, however, it seems like she was just pulling an April Fool’s prank! The school said, “There is no factual basis for that claim.” Oxford nor Cambridge have yet to comment.
