Louis Tomlinson's mother, Johannah Deakin, died earlier this week following a battle with leukemia, her husband revealed in a statement. She was 42.
“It is with immeasurable sadness that Johannah Deakin’s family said goodbye to Johannah in the early hours of Wednesday 7th December 2016,” Dan Deakin shared, according to The Sun.
“Earlier this year, Johannah was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukemia that required immediate and continuous treatment. We respectfully request that the family are given time and space to grieve in private," he added.
Along with Louis, Johannah was mom to kids Lottie, 18, Felicite, 16, twins Daisy and Phoebe, 12, and twins Ernest and Doris, 2. She also was "an incredibly proud grandmother" to the One Direction singer's son, Freddie, 10 months, with his ex Briana Jungwirth.
The musician will reportedly perform a tribute to his mom on The X Factor this Saturday. Next to his last Instagram post, which featured the brunette beauty, he wrote, "My mother looking gorgeous before the Brits earlier this year. I love you and miss you so much!"
Our thoughts are with her family during this emotional time.
