Celebrities can never post a photo of themselves without recieving thousands of comments about their bodies — they're too fat, they're too thin, they're too fake — it never stops. The star of The CW's Life Sentence, Lucy Hale, has experienced the worst fans have to offer on both ends of the spectrum. She's been called "anorexic" for being too thin and criticized for the slightest weight gain. But guess what? She's a body positive queen who feels good about herself, and she doesn't care what haters think!

In September of 2017, a Twitter troll shared this disgusting comment about Lucy: "No straight men are signing off on that anorexic look. That's for gay guys and fashionistas. We want you to please eat a hamburger." The Pretty Little Liars alum had the perfect response to the rude comment. "As someone who used to struggle with anorexia, I don't take these comments lightly," she wrote. "I'm healthy and happy and you don't know me. Just another insecure man hiding behind a computer screen. Boy BYE."

Despite her reply, people consistently hop into her comments to question her health and write that they're "worried" about her. Luckily, it looks like Lucy mostly just ignores them and stays confident in the fact that she's healthy and doing what's best for herself.

While Lucy is all about body positivity now, it was definitely a struggle for her to get there. On top of her past battle with anorexia, she faced a lot of backlash from fans in June of 2017 when she made some negative comments about her body.

"Uhg(sic), I was so fat," she wrote on a throwback photo of herself with her dad. She literally doesn't look remotely overweight in the pic, and fans were hurt that she would rag on her appearance, which made them feel bad about their own. Luckily, it was a learning experience for Lucy. "Sometimes I forget that people are watching everything that I do and say things I don't mean," she tweeted. "I'm extremely sorry if my comment about my weight offended anyone. Sometimes we can be our own worst enemy. I know people look up to me and I should be way more aware of what I say sometimes. Thanks for all the love and support, I hope y'all can forgive me." We definitely forgave you, Lucy. Thank you for being such a great role model!
