<p><span></span>After last night's blow-out fight with <a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=dnacing%20with%20the%20stars&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><em>Dancing With the Stars</em></a> judge <strong>Len Goodman</strong>, pro dancer <a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=maksim%20chmerkovskiy&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><strong>Maksim Chmerkovskiy</strong></a> tells <em>Life & Style</em> that not only does he stand by what he said, but also that he feels the judges bully the contestants.</p>
On the Oct. 24 episode, Maks tore into Len, calling him "disrespectful" for referring to his and partner Hope Solo's rumba as their "worst dance of the season." When Len shot back saying he's been in the dancing business for 50 years, Maks replied: "Then maybe it's time to go!"
Speaking with Life & Style after the show, Maks said he doesn't regret what he said. "Don't tell me it was her worst dance of the season like an idiot, when you know it's not true," Maks tells Life & Style. "I've also danced for 27 years and I've won more titles than Len even participated in."
When Life & Style asked Maks if he thought the judges bully the contestants, he said, "Absolutely."
And Maks isn't the only one who feels that way: Fellow dancer Lacey Schwimmer and her partner, Chaz Bono, agree. "The contestants are called words like animal, Ewok, penguin -- just distasteful, rude words," Lacey tells Life & Style.
"I feel like one judge in particular, week after week, paints me as this chubby, cuddly, little Ewok -- and that's not about my dancing," Chaz tells Life & Style.
But if there's one thing Maks does regret about last night, it's one of his comments being misconstrued. "There's a headline saying 'Maks calls DWTS "his show"' -- and what I did say was that I believe it's my show, along with the other pros," he tells Life & Style. "I respect where the judges come from, but I'm just not going to sit back and watch my partner be disrespected."
