Is Mama June‘s boyfriend Geno Doak ready to take the next step in their relationship? On this week’s episode of Mama June: From Not to Hot June and Geno have only been dating for a few months, and while on a date with Geno, June decided it was the right time to ask him to move in with her and her daughters.

“I feel really good that I have a man that loves me and cares about me and I have not had the best of luck with guys. Everybody’s suspicious still of Geno but I trust him 100 percent,” Mama June said in her confessional.

Geno seemed like the perfect gentleman while out on a date with June to a local mini golf course, but it wasn’t exactly the best date for June. Since she was born with cataracts in her eyes, she’s legally blind in one eye and almost completely blind in the other so it was hard for her to play the game. But Geno was sweet and patient and helped her line up all of her swings.

But Geno tried to cut their date short so that he could go back to apartment hunting, which hurt Mama June’s feelings because she was hoping that Geno would move into her gorgeous new home in TK, GA that she shares with her and her daughters Lauryn “Pumpkin Shannon and Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson.

“Well baby, there’s always room, you understand I have tons of room at my house,” June said but it doesn’t look like Geno is ready to take such a big step after only a few months of dating, and it also seemed like he isn’t ready to be a father figure to her daughters.

“Yeah, and hear a bunch of screaming every day — negative,” he said, mentioning how rowdy things can get in a house with two young girls. “You’re way too quick with that s–t.”

He told June that she appreciated the offer but he said it was “way too quick” and he quickly pumped the breaks on the possibility of moving in anytime soon. June took it well and she realized that Geno was right, and she and her daughters were also not ready to let a new man into their home after being on their own for two years. “Plus it’s about to get real crowded in there with Pumpkin’s baby on the way,” she said.
