When Brian Rose was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy many years ago, a disorder that impairs the heart's ability to pump blood, it didn't stop him from finding love!
After losing touch with high school sweetheart Sue Soares following graduation in 1984, the duo reconnected 25 years later. While the pair's relationship is as solid as ever, Rose's future isn't. Doctors recently told him that he has just five years to live if he does not receive a necessary heart transplant.

While the last few years haven't been easy for the couple, one of their dreams came true last night!
The pair tied the knot at the Boston Harbor Hotel thanks to the nonprofit Wish Upon a Wedding, which grants weddings to couples facing unique challenges.

Surrounded by their close friends and family, it was the perfect night for the duo. "They say true love comes once in a lifetime, but I have been more fortunate than most as I have found it twice in the same girl," Rose said in a statement to 'Fox Boston.'
