Mariah Carey Celebrates Easter With Nick Cannon and Their Twins Right After Her Split From Bryan Tanaka!
Even though they’re divorced, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are committed to celebrating holidays with their adorable kids!
The singer took to Instagram on Saturday night to share a sweet moment captured between her, Nick and their five-year-old twins, daughter Monroe and son Morrocan. In the photo, the family of four sat around at a kitchen table dying eggs all sorts of pastel colors for Easter.
“Easter with [dem kids],” the 47-year-old wrote in the caption and added the hashtag “#Family.”
This is the first time that Mariah reunited with her ex-husband since her split from boyfriend Bryan Tanaka. Sources revealed to People that she was the one who ended the relationship with her backup dancer — who she started dating shortly after calling off her engagement to Australian businessman James Packer.
“The split happened very recently. Mariah ended it — everyone hoped that she would. She has better things to focus on,” the source revealed. “Mariah is happy. She is focusing on her kids and new music.”

The source said that Bryan was a good distraction for Mariah after her breakup with James, but the “We Belong Together” singer quickly grew unhappy with their relationship. Not only was she annoyed with his spending habits, but she couldn’t deal with his jealousy over Nick and her close relationship with him.
Bryan was especially upset when Mariah and Nick walked the Kid’s Choice Awards red carpet last month in adorable matching outfits with their twins — and he told Mariah that he felt “disrespected” by their public outing.
It seems like Mariah’s next significant other will have to be comfortable with the fact that she will always have a close relationship with her ex-husband because they have a family together and their close relationship is important to Nick.
“For me, at the end of the day, she’s an amazing mother and we focus on our kids,” the 36-year-old told Entertainment Tonight. That’s never going to change no matter who’s in my life or who’s in her life. We have kids together, so we’ll always be family.”
