When Blake Lively tied the knot with Ryan Reynolds earlier this month, she not only married the man of her dreams but had her dream wedding -- with the help of the one and only Martha Stewart.
"They're good friends of mine," Martha revealed to Life & Style exclusively at an event for her new PBS show Martha Stewart's Cooking School. "They live around the corner from me, so we got involved that way because it's through friendship."
Martha and her team planned the romantic exchange of vows that took place on Sept. 9 at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., in front of Blake and Ryan's close friends and family.
"Our wedding team helped Blake orchestrate the event, and they did a phenomenal job," Martha says.
Coverage of Blake and Ryan's nuptials will be featured in the December issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, where we'll get to see Blake's custom Marchesa gown and one-of-a-kind Christian Louboutin shoes that she wore when she walked down the aisle.
Proud of her work, Martha gushes, "Nobody does it better than our weddings team!"
Blake is one lucky girl!
