Maintaining a diet like Melissa’s is simple with these quick tips:
1. KEEP A LOG AND PLAN ACTIVITIES AHEAD
Be sure to log everything! Make a note of your workouts, meals, social events and sleep. Really familiarize yourself with your own routine so that you can keep on top of when you get hungry, when you best like to exercise and when you need to rest. Always take healthy snacks with you when running errands. Set yourself up for success!
2. MAKE A MEAL PLANNER
Make a meal planner and stick to it! When out shopping, steer clear of the white stuff, (bread, chips, etc.), and avoid too many pre packaged things. Then make a rule: When hungry if what you want isn't in the house, you aren't leaving to get it!
3. WHEN WORKING OUT TAKE BABY STEPS
Remember: when setting your fitness goals, you don’t have to go from someone that hasn't worked out before to an obstacle course champ overnight! Take baby steps and always remind yourself that any step in the right direction is progress.
