Despite working her butt off to live a healthier lifestyle, poor Melissa Morris found herself in the hospital on March 7. The former My 600-lb Life star took to Instagram to let fans know that she's heading in for serious surgery, and they might not hear from her for a while.

"Thank you all for being so kind and checking in on me, it has been a very eventful time," she began. "On Saturday I got a sharp pain that truly dropped me to my knees. I went to the doctor and they thought it could be my appendix. On Monday I had an ultrasound, and it didn't seem to be my appendix at all, but a 'mass.' I was then sent to have a CT scan done."

Melissa has been in excruciating pain ever since, and she's desperate for some relief. "The pain I am in is at times unbearable," she continued. "Today Dr. Now saw the results and I will be having surgery Friday so if you do not hear from me, this is why. Thank you for your concern and prayers."

Dr. Nowzaradan is the man behind all of the success stories on My 600-lb Life, and it's amazing to know that Melissa is in such great hands even after filming is over. While she waits for treatment, Melissa has her kids to keep her in good spirits. "I feel like crap, my head hurts, I am nauseous, it sucks not being able to pick up my babies but this little man makes my heart happy. He kissed me and said love you," she wrote alongside a photo cuddling her son Austin. We hope you feel better asap, Melissa!
