Michael Lohan is speaking out to Life & Style about the verdict in his daughter's court case this morning in Beverly Hills.
"I'm in favor of anything that keeps my daughter out of jail and helps her with her substance-abuse problem," Michael tells Life & Style.
Judge Marsha Revel has sentenced Lindsay to mandatory attendance in alcohol-education classes. The actress may not consume any alcoholic beverages, must wear a SCRAM bracelet (which monitors alcohol use) and must submit to random drug testing.
Lindsay's estranged father believes that pills, in addition to alcohol, are a problem for his daughter.
"I still contend that the prescription drugs are her major problem," Michael tells Life & Style.
The only way the troubled star can avoid a future jail sentence is to follow these court-mandated conditions.
