The first lady of fashion should be her exact title!
Michelle Obama joined her hubby, President Obama, at the Inaugural Ball in Washington, D.C. last night, Jan. 21, and stole the show in her ravishing red Jason Wu floor-length dress [see photo above, left].
The duo looked picturesque as they danced (watch the video below!) to Jennifer Hudson's live rendition of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" — but we couldn't take our eyes off that gown!
At this point, one might say that the mother of Malia, 14, and Sasha, 11, is quite a fan of Mr. Wu—in January 2009, she wore one of his gowns [see photo above, right] to the first Inaugural Ball.

Both gowns are pulled in around the waist, but have the same flowy bottom half. While Michelle went with a tamer color in 2009, she went all out in 2013! One thing they have in common? They certainly show off her fit and toned physique!
No one was as shocked by her pick than the designer himself. Speaking to CBS This Morning today, Wu shares, "When I saw it, I was just floored. I couldn't believe that she chose me for the second time ... I am so proud of it."

"Last time, she didn't [make suggestions], but this time I said, 'I think red is a really good color' and they said, 'Well, Mrs. Obama thinks red is a good color too ... I guess we were in sync from the beginning," he continues. "We worked pretty closely with the team to perfect the dress. There [were] a lot of back and forth trips ... it took a couple of months."
We think Michelle looks absolutely flawless in both gowns, but what do you think Life & Stylers? Do you prefer one dress over the other? Let us know by leaving a comment!
